Big History - Bronze Age

Details

Back to ancient history this month and following chronologically from the Neolithic era, next up is a 2-parter on the Bronze Age.

According to Wiki:
"The Bronze Age (c. 3300 – c. 1200 BC) was a historical period characterised principally by the use of bronze tools and the development of complex urban societies, as well as the adoption of writing in some areas. The Bronze Age is the middle principal period of the three-age system, following the Stone Age and preceding the Iron Age. Conceived as a global era, the Bronze Age follows the Neolithic..."

In this, the first part we will look at the different civilisations during this time. The second part will focus on the so-called late Bronze-age collapse, occurring around 1200BC when many of these civilisations seemed to suddenly collapse for a variety (some might say mysterious!) reasons...

***Rather than a presentation or lecture, the idea will be for attendees to do their own prior research which they can then contribute with at the event. You are also welcome to attend of course without researching or having anything to share.***

List of civilisations for potential individual research are under the first sheet of this file:

Please add your name next to the topic you wish to present (in column F), should you wish to present (usually you will have up to 10 minutes to do so). Feel free to add another relevant topic, not already on the list.

### If you would like to research and talk about one of these topics (or any other relevant one of your choice), please advise which in the comments below of on the Google Sheet linked!
