Big History - Late Bronze Age Collapse!

Details

Back to ancient history this month and following chronologically from the Neolithic era, next up is a 2-parter on the Bronze Age.

According to Wiki:
"The Late Bronze Age collapse was a period of societal collapse in the Mediterranean basin during the 12th century BC. It is thought to have affected much of the Eastern Mediterranean and Near East, in particular Egypt, Anatolia, the Aegean, eastern Libya, and the Balkans. The collapse was sudden, violent, and culturally disruptive for many Bronze Age civilizations, creating a sharp material decline for the region's previously existing powers."

In this, the second part on the Bronze Age, we will examine the so-called late Bronze-age collapse, occurring around 1200BC when many of these civilisations seemed to suddenly collapse for a variety (some might say mysterious!) reasons...

***Rather than a presentation or lecture, the idea will be for attendees to do their own prior research which they can then contribute with at the event. You are also welcome to attend of course without researching or having anything to share.***

List of civilisations for potential individual research are under the first sheet of this file:

Please add your name next to the topic you wish to present (in the last column, G), should you wish to present (usually you will have up to 10 minutes to do so). Feel free to add another relevant topic, not already on the list.

### If you would like to research and talk about one of these topics (or any other relevant one of your choice), please advise which in the comments below of on the Google Sheet linked!
