What we're about

FUN FUN FUN ..... and some cycling too! This is a public group without membership fees or dues, relying solely on your donations to keep the site up and running. We are a social group with cycling as our common denominator. We don't compete or train as a group, nor do we ride off road. Take your time and look around our site, check out our past rides and the photo section. We really have only two rules; you must have a profile picture that others can clearly identify you from, and you have to log onto the site at least once a month. That's really all there is! If you have any questions just send a message to the Organizer or any A/O, and we'll get back to you promptly.

Multi Trail Ride around Irvine

Bill Barber Memorial Park

Join me for an 18 miler around some of Irvine’s best trails. Starting from Bill Barber Park, we’ll connect the San Diego Creek Trail, the Cypress Village Trail which merges into the Jeffrey Open Space Trail, Hicks Canyon Trail and lastly the Peters Canyon Trail. A nearly all-bike-trail ride!

You can find the route map here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38337564

Please familiarize yourself with this map. While we make every attempt to stay together, if you fall behind or get separated from the group, it’s up to you to find your way back, so download it to your phone or print out a cue sheet.

Bring your best road or hybrid bike with tires fully inflated, along with plenty of water, snacks if you need them, a spare tube, patch kit, helmet, cell phone, sunglasses and a good attitude! We are going to have some fun!! Dress in layers so you can add or shed clothing as needed depending on the temperatures.

Please arrive by 8:45am to "meet and greet” and get ready. We roll at 9:00am. After the ride, I’m thinking lunch at either the StoneFire Grill or Chipotle in the shopping center at Barranca and Culver Blvd. You are welcome to join us.

BOB to the Newport Globe & the Beach Ball, for a birthday drink

Big Office Building

This ride is our sometimes annual ride to the Beach Ball for a birthday drink at the Beach Ball at 2116 West Oceanfront, next to Blackie's, a hop skip & jump next to the globe. It's Tracy's birthday Feb 6 & my birthday Jan 31. Cesar's birthday is also Feb 6, but he isn't biking.
Let's have a drink at the Beach Ball :)

This ride is about 28 miles. It's 11 miles to the beach, to our first break at the bathrooms at Orange/PCH. Then continue South on Seashore, to 32nd - 36th Street and then onto the boardwalk ( Oceanfront ), to the Beach Ball, next to the pier. 14 miles there & 14 miles back the same way.

The Beach Ball probably has outdoor seating.
It did the last time I looked.
