Join us for an easy, guided bike ride to the 2025 Darby Street Festival in Cooks Hill.

Start at either Lambton Park (18km return) or Gregson Park, Hamilton (8km return).

Please bring a front & rear light, as we will be cycling back at dusk.

✨ Great for most skill and fitness levels. We go a slow, leisurely pace of 15km/hr.

Come along to meet others, build cycling confidence, and enjoy the outdoors! :)

What is the Darby Street Festival?
This is a yearly small, but growing, community festival. A section of Darby Street will open to people, and closed to cars. There will be market stalls & live music. More info: https://www.hunterhunter.com.au/newcastle/whats-on/darby-street-festival/

.
Cycling fitness level: VERY EASY to EASY/medium/hard/very hard

.
There is a safety briefing at the start, explaining how we ride together.

✨ I lead the ride, keeping a close eye on how everyone is doing, and making sure we stick together.

This lovely route is quick, easy and quiet!
- Flat
- Shared paths through parkland
- Quiet, low-pressure, low-speed streets
- No busy, high-speed roads

✨ See Newcastle from a new perspective, via popular cycling transport routes that link Lambton, Broadmeadow, Hamilton, Hamilton South, The Junction, & Cooks Hill.
