The Newcastle Cycleways Movement is holding its annual Christmas Newy Night Ride!

We’d love to see you there!

All are welcome on this easy, fun, family-friendly community ride.

We will pedal an easy loop, at a relaxed family-friendly pace, around Newcastle inner city, using shared paths and low-speed, low-traffic streets.

🎅🏽🏠✨ We stop by some fabulous Christmas lights on houses in Hamilton ✨

You may like to dress up in Christmas colours, and decorate your bike 🎄

Be sure to bring a front and rear light, so that you can see and others can see you, as we are cycling in the dark 🌟💡

.
📍 Start: "Honeysuckle Marina Newcastle", on the shared path, next to Newcastle Rydges Hotel, just off Workshop Way.

Start point on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uTi9NW9aRnr3Unsj9

🕰️ Be there by 7:30pm for a 7:45pm departure.

📍Finish Point: Wheeler Place Christmas tree

🕰️ Finish time: Approx 9-9:30pm

😀 Whilst registration is not essential, it is useful for the organisers to get an idea of numbers, and registering interest inspires others to join! So if you can, please either RSVP here on Meetup, or click Going on Newcastle Cycleways Movement’s Facebook event here: https://facebook.com/events/s/ncm-newy-night-ride-christmas-/861746352903036/

.
The previous community ride was in winter 2025, and we had over 70 riders!
