Moderate - easy hike, about 10 miles through rolling grasslands hills. 1000'+ easy climb.
What to see: Wildflowers, Tule Elk, Ocean, ....

Be ready for sun (no shade), wind, and/or fog.
Start at 9:30. Hopefully this will be early enough for enough parking at this popular trail head. Try to get there a few minutes early so we can leave at 9:30.

Park & Ride - South End of Redwood Dr & Gravenstein Highway (116 & 101 - Cotati) leaving at 8:05am. (15 min to Petaluma park and ride)
Petaluma Park Park and Ride, Lakeville St and 101 S:
leaving at 8:20am. (38 miles / 1hr - 4 mins to Meeting Location)
I will be swinging through the carpool locations listed and leaving at the listed times.

From the south suggestion: Lucas Valley Park'n'Ride Parking lot, Lucas Valley Road and 101. Just East of freeway, south side of road. Take Lucas Valley Road out towards Pt Reyes.
37 miles, 1 hr - 7 minutes from here per google maps.
From the North: Anywhere north of Petaluma stop. - Take San Antonio Road out towards Pt Reyes.
Trail-head depart Time: We should be on the trail promptly at 9:30am.
