Full Moon Murwillumbah rail trail

The FIFTH ride of a series of 6 consecutive rides.
Ride 5 – Sat 9 August – Full moon ride + dinner from approx. 4 pm.
Free time during the day (suggested day rides available).
Ride 6 – Sun 10 August – Urliup road loop. (Returns early afternoon, so enough time to pack and depart)

This specific ride: A LATE START - approx 4 pm.
Take it easy till late afternoon. Go for a ride of your own or go shopping, or visit the excellent nearby regional art gallery or nearby villages, etc, etc.

Tentatively, we will meet at Murwillumbah train station at 3.45pm for 4.00 pm start. TBC closer to the day.
About 40 klms (total) ride out and back along the rail trail. Start in daylight and return in moon light. NB you MUST have good bicycle lights for this ride for the 2 tunnels & the return trip after sunset.
90 minute sedate ride to Mooball pub where we will have a relaxed dinner then return along the rail trail, hopefully with lots of bright moonlight along the way.

Bring spare tube, tools and pump. Water. Money for your meals and drinks.
