What’s the connection between Rozelle and Tamarama Beach?
Come and discover the Rainbow connection – Clover’s latest gift to Sydney cyclists, the newly opened Oxford Street cycleway.
We can ride seamlessly from Rozelle to Centennial Park, then use on-road bike paths and roads to Tamarama Beach, before retracing our path back to Rozelle.
MEET at the ramp directly outside Rozelle Bay Light Rail tram stop on The Crescent side – please don’t block other cyclists or walkers.
Slightly EARLIER start as it's getting warmer.
Coffee will be halfway at Tamarama Beach. Time for a quick dip if you wish.
DISTANCE approx. 32 km – medium pace. Mix of cycle paths and a few busier roads to navigate and - SPOILER alert - there are some HILLS. But take them at your own pace and we will regroup to allow everyone to stay together. And just think how much you will enjoy the downhills…
WHAT TO BRING :
Bike in good mechanical order, helmet, water, spare inner tube(s) and pump in case of puncture.
Riders must be financial for this year. First time riders may have a trial ride with us before joining ($10 a year) - please contact ride leader with your details before attending.
