Old paths, new paths, bridges, backstreets and wharves

Approx 55 klm ride, mostly on bike paths or shared paths. There will be pedestrians and some on road riding. We'll try some new paths and revisit some old favourites. there are a few moderate hills along the way.
Meet at the rotunda in Pioneers Park at Leichhardt at 7.45 for an 8am departure.
We'll take back-roads and lanes to the ANZAC bridge, go around the waterfront to Darling Harbour onto Barangaroo then use a short, new bike path before heading up to Sydney Harbour Bridge, descend the new ramp, explore Lavender Bay, return on the boardwalk past Luna Park, under the bridge and
back over the bridge to Circular Quay. Up the Pitt St and Caslereagh St bike paths, left onto the Liverpool St and new Oxford St bike paths.
Right at Taylor Sq and onto the Bourke St bikeway. Left across Moore Park and the Tibby Cotter bridge. Into Centennial Park for a cuppa then around Randwick Race Course on the Doncaster bike path and back on the High St and Wansey Rd pathways. We'll head west to rejoin the Bourke St path, south through Zetland and new bike paths there. Through back routes to the Alexandria canal airport pathway and past Tempe station and back up the Cooks River to the new Greenway at Dulwich Hill and back to Pioneers Park.
There will be nsrrow pathways and a few traffic lights through the city. Bring a bike in good order. Tools, pump and spare tube, helmet, waterbottle, sunblock and a sense of self-preservation.
