Lakes Coast and Beaches Tour

This is a weekend tour that we have run over many years, we train it up to Tuggerah and then ride mostly along the lake to the entrance for coffee. From here we follow the lake riding on a good bike path stopping at Norah Head Lighhouse and then onto Budgewoi for lunch.
From here we ride mainly on a good road with a generous shoulder all the way to the Historic Catherine Hill pub for one cold one, then onto Swansea where we overnight at the Black Swan Motel. Dinner will be on the water at the Services Club.
Sunday we join up with the famous Fernleigh Rail Trail then cruise into Newcastle. I will stay for lunch on the water, instead the option is there to jump the train at the interchange and head back to Sydney.

Tuggerah to The Entrance 20km
Tuggerah to Budgewoi 17km
Budgewoi to Swansea 23km
Swansea to Newcastle 40km
This is a great opportunity to get into Bike Touring that is where all the fun is, give it a go and come along.
The ride is graded as medium with some hills the first day can be a long day in the saddle.
