The Centennial park Easter Dawdle.
Details
Easter Sunday roll out through Centennial Park. For those not going on their normal Easter drive up the coast - Meet up at the Pioneers Memorial Park and take as many bike paths as you can to Centennial Park, where every bike path in the park is used, followed by a coffee stop - with a thousand possible cafes - but with 3 in the park and several good ones at Leichhardt, we have choices. - my reccie went via Balmain Road to Lilyfield road - into Rozelle Parklands aka Asbestos Ally - over the Anzac bridge then along the Pyrmont waterfront to Darling Harbour - up the Liverpool Street cycleway - to Taylor Square - along Bourke Street Cycleway across into Moore Park across the Duncan Gay Tibby Cotter bridge ( nice to get some bikes to use it ) and into Centennial Park.. Return the reciprocal as it maximises bike paths however to truncate the Pyrmont section we can go through Glebe and onto the Crescent and filter back to the finish in Leichhardt. Should take about 3 and a bit hours - Bring your well maintained bike - and appropriate gear for the weather and a phone.
