Western Sydney Airport Trip
Details
Meet at Rooty Hill TNB Cafe on Rooty Hill Road South at 9am for a 9.15 start. The cafe is located close to the station on the south side. This is a 60 km return ride along a dedicated undulating cycle path all the way to the new airport near Badgery’s Creek. There will be a couple of toilets and water stops along the way. Lunch and drinks at the airport along with look-and-see time. We should be back at the Rooty Hill station around 2.30 PM.
This ride is suitable for people who can ride rapidly for a sustained distance, so you need to be fit. While a social ride we need to maintain a good pace. For those wishing to return earlier then Liverpool Station is a possibility but that destination is on your own.
Be prepared for flies. Bring puncture repair plus a spare inner tube. If the weather is too hot or too wet I will reevaluate and note on the chat.
