Saints😇&Sinners😈 – Old Black Canyon Out-and-Back
Details
The really nice cycling weather continues through the weekend, so please consider joining us for a casual ride, starting at the Starbucks on Glassford Hill, riding through StoneRidge, and taking the (paved) Old Black Canyon Highway to Quailwood Park (and back).
After meeting in the parking lot behind Starbucks, we'll head west through PV neighborhoods – with a possible attempt to explore the new road that is being punched through from Jasper to Highway 69 – across 69, and on to StoneRidge. After a quick loop around this residential area (on Destiny Drive and Cloud Cliff Pass), we will ride out the Old Black Canyon Highway and through more neighborhoods (on Manzanita Trail and Turquoise Drive) to Quailwood Park. Following a brief stop at the park, we will retrace our route back to Starbucks.
Come on out for this casual no-drop Sunday morning ride! The route is all paved and is 22 total miles with about 1,300 feet of climbing. We will regroup at several points along the way, particularly at some of the strategic turns and highway crossings. A stop in to Starbucks for coffeee/tea/snacks may follow for those who are interested.
As always, e-bikes are welcome! Helmets are required (🙄), lights are strongly recommended (🤩), and earbuds are discouraged (🤨).
