Monday Gravel: Tonto/Contraras

“Prior” rain, mild temps and a forecasted SSW breeze make the Tonto to Rancho Diamonte and back to Iron Springs via Contraras a great choice. Park in the gravel area on the right side of Tonto just beyond the intersection with Iron Springs. Probably a little less than 30 miles and the only noticeable uphill is Contraras. Hopefully, the predicted rain will level out any objectionable washboard. No services so bring plenty of water. Good for gravel, mountain and e-bikes.
Note: I’m unable to reset the pin drop to the proper location. The correct meeting place is at the gravel area on Tonto just west of Iron Springs.
