Freewheeling Friday - Old Black Canyon Plus

Details
For a pleasant early July 4th ride we'll do a modified loop of the Old Black Canyon route. We'll start from the parking lot behind Starbucks on Glassford Hill Rd in Prescott Valley. First modification is to take the new Jasper Parkway to get to Stoneridge Dr. Then follow several other mods on the usual route. The wind will be in our favor on Fain Rd. Load the route on your device or plan to follow the leader.
The ride is about 24.5 miles long with a modest 1200+ feet of elevation gain and is all paved.

Freewheelin' Friday rides seek creative routes in the quad city area. They are on mostly paved roads and have varying distances and elevation gain. We ride at a moderate pace, regroup several times and don't leave anyone behind. We start the ride as soon as all those who have signed up have arrived and are ready to go.
