Thursday MTB Series - Sierra Prieta, West Spruce Extension, Quaky Trail

Meet at the Aspen Creek Trailhead on Copper Basin. The mission is to ride the beautiful Quaky Trail but to avoid the steep, rocky trails in the area we will start on the forest road. We'll take Copper Basin up to Sierra Prieta then head down Thumb Butte a short distance till we get to West Spruce Extension. This trail has some outstanding views though be prepared for a few rocky places and some exposed trails. The big payoff is the short but flowy Quaky Trail through the aspen. About 10 miles and 1100 feet of climbing.
