MTB Ride Spence Basin/Thumb Butte

Starting from lower Spence Basin TH, we’ll go up Vista then left on Noodle to Sidekick all the way to Javelina. We’ll make a a call here as to stay on Javalina and the Circle trail or split up for a more technical loop on Sidekick and Rusty fender, whatever you choose we’ll meet back up at the chimney on the Circle Trail. From the Chimney we’ll continue on Circle trail ( Javalina /332) working our way up into Thumb Butte area turning left at top of hill at 318, stay on 318 to 317 then N to Willy Nilly Tractor, all the way across the creek and back to Noodle and Vista back to TH. 10.5 mi / 1060 ft climbing. Intermediate technical and intermediate endurance. Come join us for a fun ride in the pines, weather is predicted to be beautiful especially for December. Helmets required, no drops, technically this ride is in the Prescott National forest so e-bikes are not approved, although I often see them, so your call.
