Saints & Sinners [😇&😈] – Head for the WESTERN HILLS!

It looks to be another fine December day in Prescott – Come on out for this scenic ride to celebrate the winter solstice!

After gathering in the gravel parking area next to Mark's Beergarden, we will proceed to Iron Springs Road and head west. Our first turn will be onto Granite Basin Road, making a loop past Granite Mountain Lake. We will then return to Iron Springs and continue up to the elevation sign at Iron Springs Pass. Next, we’ll drop down Iron Springs and turn onto Skyline Drive for a climb out to the end of the pavement on that road. From there, we’ll head back down Skyline to Iron Springs, and on down to Sierry Peaks/Forest Trails for a trek across to Thumb Butte Road (via Downer Trail & Oregon/Idylwild). Finally, we will cycle up to White Rock, then return to our starting point, coming down Thumb Butte Road/Idylwild/Oregon and over to Gail Gardner for one final jaunt up Iron Springs to Mark's to celebrate!

This route covers about 34 miles with around 3,300 feet of climbing. There will be a number of strategic regroupings to keep everyone together. Come on out and join us for this classic Bike Prescott ride. As always, e-bikes are welcome. Helmets are required, lights are strongly recommended, and earbuds are discouraged.
