All routes are listed. We will decide on dinner options once there. There will be a pizza night - probably Wednesday at the Sport Village pavillion - where we are staying.
My number is 419-651-3807 if you have any questions.

Bike Prescott's cycling vacation in St. George, Utah in October of 2023 was such a success that we're planning a return trip for 2026. We'll offer five days of riding beginning Monday, May 4. Join us for 3, 4 or 5 days of scenic rides.

This BIKE PRESCOTT MEMBERS ONLY (and guests) trip offers exceptionally scenic rides in places like Snow Canyon and Zion National Park.
If you're interested in joining us, you'll need to make your own lodging arrangements. In the past, many of us stayed at Sports Village in condos. I suggest booking directly thru Airbnb or VRBO instead of booking thru their website.
Meetups for meals TBD. If enough folks stay at Sports Village, we could use their pavilion for a pizza night. Folks not staying there would also be able to participate.

All rides start from the Chuckwalla Trailhead parking area at 9:00 a.m. except where otherwise noted.

I'll be posting updates here.

Tuesday, May 5th
Long Ride: Kolub Terrace Road 50mi/5400’. STARTS FROM THE CORNER OF MILL AND JEPSON (130 S) IN THE TOWN OF VIRGIN. An out-and-back climb comparable to Mt. Lemmon. The route passes through parts of Zion National Park.

Short Ride: Virgin River Trail 24mi/800’. STARTS FROM BLOOMINGTON PARK. A paved, relatively flat, bike and pedestrian path that parallels the Virgin River.

Wednesday, May 6th:
Zion National Park: 21mi/1200’. STARTS FROM THE TOWN OF SPRINGDALE, just outside of the Park entrance. Park on the right (Paid Parking) across from the Hotel Novo. We’ll ride to the Park entrance together and enter through the pedestrian/bike gate.
The bicycle entrance to Zion National Park is next to the Zion Outfitter and the Zion Brew Pub. Here, you will cross a small bridge to the Pedestrian Entrance fee station. This path connects to the Pa'rus Trail. Please walk your bike through the Visitor Center Plaza.
Bring your National Parks pass. Once inside the park we bike through Virgin River Canyon on a road with very limited car access.
Read the General Rules for bicycling in Zion. Remember - single file and a complete stop to the side of the road for any shuttle buses.
