The Santa Maria River gravel road runs along the river between Highway 15 (the road to Bagdad) and Highway 93. Last time we did this ride we made a few excursions to the river for a total of 31 miles and about 1900' of climbing. It's a beautiful ride with very little traffic, making the drive to the start worth it. I think we saw 3 cars/trucks last time. If we're lucky we'll see wildflowers.

Meet just before the bridge that runs over the Santa Maria river. There is a gravel area on the left before you get to the bridge. The bridge is on Highway 15, about 10 miles past the turn off to Hillside.
