Ride Description:
Scott will be out of town on Thursday, so let's reprise his April 10 First Watch Ride that day. Meet in the southeast corner of the Lowe’s shopping center. Look for Baggin's and Tucson Endurance Sports.

If you're willing to be a sweep, please tell me when you sign in. Feel free to join us at First Watch afterwards. We sit on the enclosed patio, where you can park your bike to watch it while you eat.

Restrooms
Lowes - pre or post ride, go in north doors and turn left
Aqua Caliente Park - main rest break (13.4 mi)
First Watch - post-ride (31 mi)

We will follow the Loop to Sabino Canyon Road where we’ll transit onto Sabino Canyon Road after we cross the wash on the protected bike lane.

Turning right on to Tanque Verde, we’ll bear right onto Wrightson Road, then left on to Pantano Road. After the turn we’ll take the on-ramp back onto Tanque Verde. Next will be a right turn onto Woodland Road. Just before we get back to Tanque Verde, we’ll take a left onto Bear’s Path Road, which we’ll take back to Tanque Verde

On Tanque Verde, we’ll take a right and maneuver through the strip mall to the stop light on Bear Canyon Road where we’ll cross onto Bear Canyon Road. From here the route is pretty straight forward.

Bear Canyon to Snyder the Snyder to North Solider Trail. We’ll turn left on to East Roger Road and ride into Agua Caliente Park for a rest break. After that we’ll ride back to Solider Trail, turn left and ride down to Tanque Verde.

At Tanque Verde we’ll turn left crossing the road (watch for cars) and ride to 49ers Country Club. We’ll follow the route through 49ers to Wentworth. Turning right onto Wentworth we’ll follow it to Speedway Blvd.

For the last leg of the ride, we’ll turn left on Speedway and ride out to the entrance to Tanque Verde Ranch. Once there we’ll head west on Speedway back to the start of the ride. While the route profile may look hilly, the max grade is only 3.6%, so this is a fairly flat ride.

This is a C paced ride meaning the final average should be between 12-14 MPH, though the pace during the ride may exceed that occasionally.
Wheels rolling at the start time listed above. Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand to sign the ride waiver.
