Details

ROUTE 36 miles 1460 feet ascent (majority of climbing first 20 miles of this route)

Bring adequate water for first 25 miles as hokoman park may not have water... Tangerine Sky park is about mile 25 and should have water.

This C+ ride will average between 14 and 16 MPH. This is a no drop ride, however two groups may form. If you do not know the route, stay with me or wait at a turn if dropped by faster group if that pace forms. (I average about 14-15 and lead from front, middle and back depending on riders, etc..)
If you are not comfortable or not capable of this expected pace average for the route you chose, please do not participate in it, it is not fair to the other riders.
Riders are expected to ride at the pace of the ride leader and between the ride leader and the sweep if designated. There will be ride-at-your-own-pace sections and regroup areas designated by the ride leader

Start/End: Brueggers Bagels La Canada/Naranja

Water/Bathrooms: 16.5 miles at Hokoman park,
25 mi Tangerine Sky park.

Route: Mix of trails and roads with bike lanes.

Safety/Legal Refresher: On roads that we share cars and trucks, make yourself visible with lights/bright clothing, ride as a group, and whenever possible stay in the bike lane. Call out road hazards and announce stopping. Communicate at all times!

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in.

Load the route into your bicycle computer, your smart phone or print a copy of the cue sheet. Otherwise, follow the ride leader

If you haven't ridden with me before, I will not have your contact information. If so, please send your name, phone number, emergency contact, emergency contact phone number (NOT 911) to theresagilbert90@gmail.com.
