Bike 2 Bridges: Carquinez and Benicia Bridges: 43 miles, 2458' elevation

This is a fan favorite loop through the Martinez, Vallejo and the Benicia area. We start at Pleasant Hill Bart in Pleasant Hill at 8:30a with an 9:00a sharp start. If you are driving, or taking BART, I will be on the WEST side of the PH Bart Station in a charcoal subaru with a bright orange POC helmet on top of my car in THE ONLY open parking area, not in the parking garage. There are bathrooms located at the BART station, however you may want to choose differently before you come.
This ride takes us north over the Vallejo Carquinez Bridge and then through the small but quaint Benicia town with a stop at the famous "One House Bakery" on 1st street for lunch. We then ride to shave off those sugar calories along the Benicia Bridge and back to Pleasant Hill. This is an intermediate ride, please pay attention to the elevation and terrain by clicking on the link below. We will do our best to keep everyone together and stop to regroup 1-2 times during the ride before and after the lunch spot.
