Community Wrench – Learn the ABCs of Bike Maintenance (FREE Workshop)

Join the Bike Ventura County team, together will your bike in shape and ride with confidence! Join us for a hands-on, free community workshop where we’ll walk you through the essential ABC Quick Check so your bicycle is safe, smooth, and ready for your next adventure.
What we’ll cover together:

• Air – Tire inspection, proper inflation & Flat repair
• Brakes – Inspect, test, and adjust (or replace pads if needed)
• Chain – Powertrain visual inspection & basic service

We’ll start with a full safety inspection of your bike, then teach you the practical skills to keep it maintained between rides. No experience necessary — our friendly mechanics and volunteers will guide you every step of the way. Tools and stands are provided; just bring your bike (and clothes you don’t mind getting a little greasy!).

Whether you can’t make regular HUB DIY hours or simply want a solid refresher, this is the perfect low-pressure way to learn the basics and leave with a bike that’s road-ready.
