Day Hike: Urkiola Parke Naturala

Join us for a day hike at Urkiola Parke Naturala where we will hike to the top of Anboto.

Hike Details:

• Meeting Point: 09:00 at the trailhead – https://maps.app.goo.gl/PkxcrzrBvNPQZdM77
• Transport: We'll travel from Bilbao by private car and can arrange car-sharing in the WhatsApp group (link below).
  There is also a bus to the Muntsaratz stop (https://maps.app.goo.gl/dhHMgY3mp4Xf9o8S6), but please note it’s a 4 km walk from there to the trailhead, where the hike begins and ends.
• Distance: Approx. 15 km
• Elevation Gain: Around 1100 m
• Pace: Moderate. You should be in good physical condition, as the hike takes around 7-8 hours including breaks.

What to Bring:

• Hiking shoes with good grip
• Weather-appropriate clothing, including a rain jacket
• Food and plenty of water
• Sunscreen
• Hiking sticks (optional)

We’ll take breaks along the way to eat, drink, and enjoy the views und usually also stop for a coffee along the way or after the hike.
