We live in a society progressively dominated by egocentric experiences: bright city lights, social media, and artificial intelligence to name a few. The last of which increasingly jeopardizes some of our greatest qualities and gifts we have to offer: authenticity and creativity. Furthermore, such experiences bear significant environmental expenses while divorcing us from the Natural World connection intrinsic to qualities such as empathy, fulfillment, and respect for ourselves, other life forms, and Earth as a whole.
In this talk, Andy will speak of his personal spiritual experiences in Nature, their contributions to self-actualization, and how he attempts to reconcile contributing to practices environmentally hazardous to our beloved planet.
