In each session, we dive into a chosen book using immersive, literature-based learning. You can preview key vocabulary before each meeting to make reading smoother and more enjoyable — or just read and join the discussion.
Either way when you come to a session you get to discuss the plot, debate character’s decisions, and practice speaking skills – all together and through natural everyday conversations about life and its quirks.
How it works:
📚 We meet twice a month, for three months per book.
💻 The first five sessions are online (Zoom); the final one is in person.
🗣️ English-Only Immersion — no translation, just context.
🎯 Level: Best for B1–B2 learners.
Approach: To help you build vocabulary, fluency and confidence I use communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Learning, Content-Based Instruction, Vocabulary Pre-Teaching & Scaffolding + Comprehensible Input, Multimodal Learning.
About the host:
Hi, I’m Oksana — the creator and host of Bind.
I’ve been very fortunate to mentor and teach hundreds of students over a 7 year span through schools, clubs, courses and individual lessons. I’ve gotten to experience what being fluent in English can do for you, and I see sharing this experience with others as my life work.
This work (or should I say “lifestyle”) showed me the importance of forming communities over the things you love. It happens that I love books! At some point of my language journey reading helped me connect to English and its world.
