What we’re about
Drug development is a wonderful industry with all sort of lofty goals. Improving patient care. Bettering population health. Making a difference in the world around us. It's also an industry with a ton of meetings, travel, and not enough opportunities to focus on our own wellness.
As a traveling sales guy, I try to get a run in wherever I am but it can be tricky. Some time ago, I decided to try and organize runs to correspond with various industry conferences. DIA, ASCO, ARVO, whatever. Though I've had varying degrees of success, I recognize many in the industry are runners so thought it made sense to organize something a bit more steady closer to home.
This group is for runners from all walks of life-life science professionals, students, and those looking to learn more about the industry. All paces welcome!
