What we’re about
Hi everyone!
This meetup group will be an effort to bring together a diverse set of minds to exchange skills and knowledge to tackle some of the pressing problems in AI computation
We are in the experimentation phase, but in the end we hope this to be a mixture of seminars, networking events, and practical coding projects on real-life data. So stay tuned!
If you are interested in any of the following topics, this meetup is likely for you:
> • data science
> • machine learning / deep learning / artificial intelligence
> • bioinformatics / computational biology
> • systems biology / cellular modelling / network modelling
> • high-performance computing (CPU/GPU)
> • molecular modelling, simulations
> • coding in general (Python, C++, Matlab, R, ...)
Feel free to contact me with ideas and questions any time!
See you soon,
Maik Röder

This time we will have a meeting at the Campbell Tink Tank:

TINK TANK Campbell
Am Paradeplatz 20

https://tink-tank.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/anfahrttink-tankcampbell.pdfYou can join us either at
17:00 if you are interested in in-depth technical or scientific talks
or at
18:00 if you are interested in general public talks
This is the current schedule with talks in german language:
17:15 - Knowledge Solution Corner
About the AI Computing Meetup projects:
One of the things we will continue working on is the RAG LLM project that the team Council Insights Heidelberg developed for the SAS Hackathon:
Council Insights Heidelberg - Data Analytics on Council Work using LLM
They are Global technology winners in two categories:
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Visualization
Press release: SAS announces winners of 2024 SAS Hackathon
