**BioData Basel - Event 2: LLMs in Biological data (Online discussion)** 🗣️🤖
Hi everyone,
Following our fantastic first get-together, it's time for our second event! Based on your feedback, we're diving into one of the hottest topics right now: **Large Language Models (LLMs) and their impact on** on **bioinformatics and computational biology**.

This will be a relaxed, **online-only event** focused on open discussion. This isn't a formal lecture! The goal is for all of us to share our thoughts, questions, and experiences.

**Plan**
We'll kick things off with a very brief, hands-on example: using an LLM to help with a common research task (like summarizing a paper or generating code for a plot).
After that, the floor is open! We can discuss questions like:

* How are you using LLMs (like ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) in your daily work?
* What are the coolest applications you've seen in bioinformatics or computational biology using LLMs?
* Ideas with LLMs?

Bring your curiosity and your questions. Whether you're an expert or just getting started, your perspective is welcome!
