Hi everyone,
Following our fantastic first get-together, it's time for our second event! Based on your feedback, we're diving into one of the hottest topics right now: Large Language Models (LLMs) and their impact on on bioinformatics and computational biology.

This will be a relaxed, online-only event focused on open discussion. This isn't a formal lecture! The goal is for all of us to share our thoughts, questions, and experiences.

Plan
We'll kick things off with a very brief, hands-on example: using an LLM to help with a common research task (like summarizing a paper or generating code for a plot).
After that, the floor is open! We can discuss questions like:

• How are you using LLMs (like ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) in your daily work?
• What are the coolest applications you've seen in bioinformatics or computational biology using LLMs?
• Ideas with LLMs?

Bring your curiosity and your questions. Whether you're an expert or just getting started, your perspective is welcome!
