Join us for a fun and educational afternoon outdoors at BioDay in Danehy Park, hosted by Native Plant Community Gardeners and co-hosted by Biodiversity for a Livable Climate (Bio4Climate) and Boston Birding.
š³ Bio4Climate will lead a tour of the Miyawaki mini-forest planted in the parkācome learn how this dense, fast-growing native forest method works and how it restores ecosystems and builds climate resilience right in our cities.
The event will also feature:
š¦ A bird-watching tour with Mari Badger (Boston Birding)
š¼ A native plant walk
š¶ Live music
š² Nature-themed games for all ages
You'll also hear about a new community-led Native Plant Pollinator Garden coming to the parkāand how you can get involved in bringing more biodiversity to Danehy!
