What we’re about

▪ Purpose:
This group aims to discuss journals that are related to Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Machine Learning and various popular topics (Genomics, Single Cell methods, Immuno-Oncology, Drug Discovery & Development, Clinical Trials, etc).

▪ How are papers chosen?
Papers are selected by the presenters who volunteer them, which often will be from their areas of interests. If you have a topic or paper that you'd like to discuss, we'd love for you to join and present!
If you have a paper of interest, please send it to the organizers, Celine, Simon and Xiaochen via LinkedIn (Please do not send Meetup messages, as we don't monitor it).

▪ Meeting Day & Time?
We're aiming 1-2 times a month on a Friday, 11AM-12PM (EST, Eastern Standard Time). Meeting time might change due to availabilities of organizers or presenters.

▪ What is the format of the meeting?
Format is informal/casual and 1~2 papers are discussed per session. If more people would like to join with a paper to discuss, we can divide the time appropriately. We're easy going!
