Yaniv is is currently the CEO and co-Founder of Eleven Therapeutics with a longstanding career focused on genomics and bioinformatics. Formerly an Associate Professor at Columbia University and Chief Science Officer of MyHeritage, he pioneered crowd-sourcing genomic information and highlighted genetic privacy concerns. Eleven Therapeutics is now leading advancements in RNA therapeutics. His work has been published in prestigious journals, and he has received several awards for his contributions such as the Burroughs Wellcome Career Award, Harold M. Weintraub award, and the IEEE/ACM-CS HPC award.
