Register to Attend

Join us Thurs., Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. to learn about the benefits of integrating nature into children's lives! The evidence is clear: spending time outdoors, in nature, is essential for children’s healthy development. From improving academic and social-emotional learning outcomes, to supporting physical and mental health, children thrive when they have frequent access to outdoor spaces, experiences and learning. Nature is proven to create feelings of calm, reduce anxiety and mitigate the impact of adverse childhood experiences, which is especially important as today's children and youth are facing unprecedented mental health challenges. Children & Nature Network CSO for External Relations Laura Mylan will talk about nature's proven benefits and some of the ways that the Children & Nature Network is working to advance equitable access to nature everywhere children live, learn and play.

Register in advance for the meeting here. The Zoom meeting will begin promptly at 6 p.m. (EST), 3 p.m. (PST). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
