Event moved to similar area, different brewery! Now Deft Brewing!

OK - even more confusing sorry! I called the brewery to confirm today, and they said they are shutting down early for an employee party tomorrow! The person I spoke with two weeks ago never mentioned this. After scrambling to find a venue for several hours, we are now going to Deft Brewing, which has really nice beers as well!

Deft brewing has plenty of parking in a dirt lot just down the road from them if there is no street parking.

I was so confused by January - cold weather, then warm Santa Ana's, and some of the biggest rain downpours we have had in SD for a long time, and yet some are calling it Dry January.

OK, bad jokes aside, both of those are finally behind us. Now join us for a different kind of pour at (now DEFT BREWING!) Modern Times Beer, conveniently located near the I-5 and I-8 intersections (see actual address below). You may have seen their beer in various stores, such as Trader Joe's and others, but what you may not know is, they have a much bigger selection at the brewery itself, with some unique variants available.

So come and see your fellow biotech and biotech adjacent folks, and hoist a beer to St Valentines, or, for no particular reason at all. No date required - or make one while you are here - or don't. Because we don't care! We are about camaraderie and quaffing a good beer or two while mingling with people that don't look at you funny just because you say you're a lab rat, biohacker, data miner, science sage, neural navigator, sequencer jockey, etc.
