
What we’re about
Welcome! Our peer run support group works toward celebrating success and overcoming setbacks. Our members who come out to our meetings will be provided with tools, someone to listen and hope. We offer our monthly virtual meeting, our WhatsApp group chat, our coffee chat group and social events. Our events are private and confidential! We do not recording our meetings! The dynamic of our group is to ask: where is it you want to get to, and, why is it important for you to get there? Our members listen to each other, support one another and provide hope together to plant the seeds of recovery from bipolar disorder. We strive to build esteem, confidence and self efficacy to build hope and an optimistic attitude. We recognize many factors contribute to depression and mania; including social stressors, genetic, seasonality and environmental, to name a few. In order to address symptoms we advocate for daily routine, balance, in work, play, and rest; and connection, to oneself, to others, to something larger. New meaningful friendships can blossom.
