Crown Zellerbach Trail

Join Julian Hwa, as we explore the fields and wetlands of Columbia County while walking the east end of the Crown Zellerbach Trail. The path is level and almost entirely paved. It offers views of fields, marshes, sloughs, ponds and hedgerows on its way to the Multnomah Channel. Round trip will be about 2.5 miles. Bring a snack and dress for the weather. Bring binoculars (or tell me if you need to borrow a pair). Spotting scopes are useful here, so bring one if you have it. Sparrows, raptors and waterfowl should be abundant this time of year.
