Baskett Slough NWR

Join Julian H & Erik B, in discovering the wintering site of the Dusky Canada Goose and home of the Streaked Horned Lark in winter. We will meet at the Park ‘N Ride to carpool at the Bridgeport Exit #290 at 7 a.m. Directions: South bound on I-5, take the Bridgeport Exit #290, then turn right (west), then turn left to the Park ‘N Ride. North bound on I-5, take Exit #290, turn Left (west), and turn left again into the Park ‘N Ride. We will then form carpools to Baskett Slough NWR. If you choose to meet us at our first stop, Please let us know in advance, and meet us at our first stop, the Wildlife Overlook Gazebo on Highway 22, at 8am. Please bring a lunch. Scopes would be helpful. Let me know if you need binoculars. Bring binoculars, water and a lunch, and dress for the weather.
