Passionate, Perceptive, Protective at Noble Woods
Details
What are you passionate about? What helps you be perceptive? What do you wish to protect?
Noble Woods Park is my answer. I have spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours at this park. It sparked my love of owls, which sent me on a journey of self discovery. There is a Century Boulevard Extension Project in the works in which Century Boulevard would be extended, cutting through Noble Woods. What better time to lead a birding outing here - spreading awareness, and encouraging others to get involved in fighting against the CBEP?!
Join me for 2 miles give or take through beautiful, mature, mixed woods with gorgeous views of Rock Creek and a pond. Listen to the various songbirds. Take in the fresh fragrance of the riparian woods. Possibly see Barred Owls on the hunt. Be on the look out for other birds and wildlife.
We will wrap up with a creekside guided meditation and prompted journaling focused on what we are passionate about and protective over, connecting with our values and what drives us.
