Birds, Brews & BBQ at Cherry Creek 🐦🍻

Join us for an afternoon bird walk at Cherry Creek State Park! We’ll meet at 3:30 PM at the Prairie Loop Parking area and spend a couple of hours exploring this excellent urban birding hotspot. Expect a mix of walking surfaces — sidewalk, gravel, and some off-trail wandering where things may get a little damp — so come prepared for a bit of adventure.
A Colorado State Park pass is required per vehicle for entry. Bringing a spotting scope is encouraged (shorebirds, anyone?), but not required — Carly will have one to share with the group.
We’ll wrap up birding around 5:30 PM, then head over to A Bit Twisted Brewpub & BBQ for well-earned drinks and some seriously good food. If you’re hungry, you’re in luck — this is hands-down some of the best BBQ Carly has found in Denver (high praise from someone raised in Georgia!).
The event officially wraps at 7:00 PM, but feel free to stick around, relax, and enjoy good company. All are welcome — bring your binoculars, curiosity, and appetite! 🍖🍻
