Let's go birding again along Coal Creek in Lafayette. This stretch of Coal Creek is known to be a breeding ground for ebony jewelwings, a damselfly that's rare in Colorado. Check out this article in the Daily Camera. I know, I know, it's not a bird, but trust me, they're gorgeous. The birding and damselflying along this riparian stretch is exceptional.

Before sunset, we'll head over to Acreage before sunset. We'll convene on the Back 40 & Lawn with spectacular mountain views. Bring a chair as there's limited seating.

We'll meet at the north end of Majestic Drive. Put Jasper's Splash Zone in your preferred mapping app and you'll get to the right place. You cannot park in Jasper's lot. There's plenty of on-street parking.

Hope to see you there!
