Thursday September 11, 2025
7am to 9:30am
Join us for a two-mile bird walk around Sugarloaf Mountain, starting at the Sugarloaf Trailhead parking lot on Buena Vista Drive. This desert habitat is home to local species, winter residents, and — with luck — some migrant warblers passing through.
Meeting point: Sugarloaf Trailhead parking lot on Buena Vista Drive.
What to bring: Be sure to bring sunscreen, sturdy walking shoes, a hat, binoculars, and water. Extra binoculars will be available for those who need them.
About the location: The trail is a bit technical, so please wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
