NAAS Sedona Christmas Bird Count 2025
Details
The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is a long-standing citizen science tradition where volunteers across the Americas count birds during the holiday season, helping track population trends and inform conservation efforts. The Northern Arizona Audubon Society (NAAS) runs four local CBCs each year, welcoming birders of all skill levels.
Join us for the Sedona CBC on Friday, January 2, 2026. You can participate as a section leader, a team member, a feeder watcher at your home, or by birding in your neighborhood — no experience necessary!
To get involved, contact Rich Armstrong at [richarmstrong47@gmail.com](mailto:richarmstrong47@gmail.com). Once you sign up you will receive more information about your role, location and times.
Thank you for helping track birds in Northern Arizona! Your observations contribute to a century-long tradition of citizen science and help guide critical conservation efforts for our local bird populations.
