Birds & Beyond, Audubon Fun Day. Join several non-profits for birdwatching, nature games, art projects, reptiles, hands-on outdoor activities. Fun for ALL ages, young and old. A part of the Verde Valley SciTech Festival. Free!
When: Sat. Feb. 28, 2026 10:00am-2:00pm
Where: Sedona Wetlands Preserve 7500 AZ 89-A Sedona (between mile markers 365 & 366)
What: Bring your family! Good for all ages. Bring your binoculars! This is a low-key, easy event.
1) Welcome table: Learn how Audubon is helping save birds!
2) Children's table: Gifts of coloring sheets, bird stickers, and pencils.
3) Art Table: nature rubbings.
4) Puzzle Table: quick educational puzzle. Bird Booklet.
5) Birding—Bird watching at the Big Pond. Look through our telescopes at the ducks and other waterfowl with expert birders. There will be loaner binoculars to use.
6) Games include: Migration game, walk to the platform and back (self-led)
