Field Trip | Butterflying at Bubbling Ponds
Join butterfly expert Becky Hardy for a spring butterfly walk at Bubbling Ponds. We'll explore the trails looking for early-season butterflies and enjoying the beauty of the preserve.
Date: Friday, March 27, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Meeting Point: Dirt parking lot at Bubbling Ponds Preserve
Directions: Meet at the dirt parking lot at Bubbling Ponds Preserve.
What to Bring: Binoculars or camera, hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, water, and a snack.
About the Location: Bubbling Ponds provides excellent habitat for butterflies and other wildlife. We will walk approximately 1.5 miles on mostly flat trails. A vault toilet is available onsite. A $5 donation is appreciated.
