Wetland Birding

Ameenpur Lake is a quiet little lake behind Miyapur on the way to Bachupalli and is on the backside of a heavy industrial area. This place has always surprised birders with some special sightings, Still on reaching the reasonably sized lake, one can see the huge number of birds that elect to stay there and make for a surprisingly pleasant viewing. The birds seem to co-exist with the surrounding industrial areas and seem comfortable in the lake area which seems to be rich with insects and fish etc keeping the birds happy. Its a good learning experiance for all age groups and will be a good experience for family outing on a sunday considering close proximity to most of the areas in the city. We will teach you to identify birds and provide you assistance in photography. Our expert birders will provide you with assistance in learning about different birds found in that region. Please bring in a binoculars and a camera for the walk to observe and record. Also please carry water to drink and a bag to dispose off any waste.
