🐦 Birdsong Mindfulness Walks

Join a slow, mostly silent walk through the Montjuïc area, guided by birdsong, breath, and gentle presence.

We’ll move at an easy pace, letting sound and nature settle the nervous system. As you walk, you will receive gentle Reiki: an energy-based practice that supports relaxation and grounding.

There will be space to share reflections together after the walk, if you wish.

📍 Location: Montjuïc area. The exact meeting point pin will be shared a couple of days before the day of the walk here on Meetup. Please confirm your attendance by sending a WhatsApp message to +34722 692 960.

👥 Group size: Small and intimate. If you prefer a 1:1, we can do that too and I’ll walk beside you. Returning walkers may occasionally join beyond this number, as they’re already familiar with the pace and nature of the practice. If you’ve joined a previous walk and would like to come again, feel free to message me directly.

💛 Cost: Free for the first 10 walks of the year. Donations are welcome.

Cancellation: Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so others can join.

🐦 What to expect on the walk 🌿

  • Total time: approx. 60 minutes
  • Pace: slow and gentle
  • Experience level: no prior mindfulness or Reiki experience needed
  • 1. Gathering at the Meeting Point: We’ll begin by meeting at the agreed location and taking a few moments to arrive together.
  • 2. Walking to the Starting Space: From the meeting point, we’ll walk together toward an open, quieter space where the session will officially begin.
  • 3. Introduction & Grounding: Once we arrive, I’ll offer a brief talk introducing mindfulness and the intention for the walk, including how we’ll use birdsong and natural sounds as anchors for awareness. This will be followed by a short, guided grounding practice to help us settle into the body and open the senses before walking mindfully.
  • 4. Mindful Walking: We’ll walk slowly and quietly through the area, with occasional gentle prompts offered along the way. At times, we may pause briefly to listen, sense, or simply be still. You’re invited to walk at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
  • 5. Stillness & Optional Reiki: After around 20–30 minutes of mindful walking, we’ll pause in a natural spot for a few minutes of stillness. You’re welcome to sit down or remain standing, whatever feels right for you.
  • At this point, I’ll offer a short Reiki session by gently placing my hands on you. This is completely optional — if you prefer not to receive Reiki, that’s absolutely fine. You can simply let me know beforehand, or choose to rest quietly during this time.
  • 6. Closing: We’ll close the session together and gently transition back. If you feel you’d like to extend the Reiki session after the walk, you’re very welcome to let me know.

We’ll begin the grounding walk at 12:00, with a 5-minute grace period, and start walking shortly after.

Please plan to arrive a little early to settle in comfortably and respect everyone’s time. If you think you’ll be late, please text me (+34 722 692 960) at least 15 minutes in advance, and I’ll share a live location so you can find us easily.

If you arrive during the grounding session, you’re welcome to join the circle quietly and gently. If you arrive once the mindful walk has already begun, please join us silently, without drawing attention, to respect the experience.

I’ll invite everyone to place their phones on silent mode during the walk.
