Do Dah Day with the 30's and 40's group
Details
Getting this one on the calendar early: Do Dah Day is Birmingham's oldest event, and honestly one of my absolute favorites as I get to see all the animals. It is also one of the biggest fund raising events for Jefferson County animal shelters, including the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. The event is family friendly and involves lots of Dogs(Cats, rats, etc.), and live music. So bring your children or fur babies, and enjoy tunes, pets, vendors, and brews at Cahaba Brewing Company.
Tickets are 10$(Supporting GBHS mostly) at the door and 8$ if you preorder
The event technically starts at 11 but, I will be at the stairs into Cahaba Brewery(i.e in the event) at noon as there is no parade this year.
As far as parking goes you are kind of on your own unfortunately, but the lot next door where moms basement is, or the road behind that have been good to me in the past.
