On 4 May, our non-religious Sunday gathering will be co-led by Rev. Andy Pakula—the minister once barred from delivering Radio 4’s “Thought For The Day” for being an atheist. He’ll be sharing a provocative message titled “Love Your Enemy?” Andy is a devout believer in the power of community, love, and justice to transform our lives and our world. Join us for a thought-provoking session that just might open your mind (and your heart).

An uplifting afternoon of chanting, dancing, and connection through sacred mantras, open to all, regardless of experience, belief and non-belief.

Join Brum Unitarians and friends including Shana Parvin & the Braja Bhakti kirtan band, for Saturday Soulfest!

We come together to shake off the week’s stress through the power of sacred mantras, chanting, and dancing. This is your chance to connect with like-minded individuals and explore your deepest self in an uplifting and joyful atmosphere.

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or new to kirtan (devotional singing), everyone is welcome to come as you are - no prior experience needed. Our multi-generational gathering invites all, regardless of belief, non-belief or spiritual background, to celebrate the universal spirit within us all.

Led by Shana Parvin (she/they). Shana is a spirituality and wellbeing practitioner, and an intersectional justice activist, based in Cardiff.

A newly announced interactive and multi-generational Sunday gathering on 11 May exploring themes of new opportunities, the beauty of letting go, and the power of embracing change. As we reflect on our individual journeys, we'll create a space for sharing, connection, and renewal, celebrating the wisdom that each season brings. This gathering will have guided/led activities in place of our usual "message" section.

Led by Shana Parvin (she/they). Shana is a spirituality and wellbeing practitioner and an intersectional justice activist, based in Cardiff. Shana is currently in training for Unitarian ministry.

Please note there will be NO separate childcare provision operating during the 11 May gathering, but children are welcomed in the gathering, and there are toys and materials available in the lobby.
